When purchasing this KAWAI digital piano from a dealer, you as a customer have a statutory warranty that is not limited by this warranty. This guarantee therefore gives you additional rights. This In advance, Kawai, as the manufacturer, provides you with a warranty for this digital piano under the following conditions:

General Provisions

(1) A defect only exists if the value or usability of the digital piano is significantly reduced.

(2) This guarantee is granted free of charge by:
KAWAI Europa GmbH Europark Fichtenhain A 15 47807 Krefeld, Germany.

(3) This warranty applies to all KAWAI digital pianos from the NV, CS, CA, CN, CL, ES, MP and VPC series, provided they were purchased after July 1, 2015.
The duration of the guarantee is 5 years from the date of purchase.
The prerequisite for this is that you purchase the new KAWAI digital piano from an authorized KAWAI dealer.

(4) This digital piano is only covered by this guarantee if it was purchased from a KAWAI dealer in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Belgium or Luxembourg, and if the defect occurred in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Netherlands, Belgium or Luxembourg and warranty services can also be provided in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Netherlands, Belgium or Luxembourg. Defects must be reported to us within two (2) months to be displayed as soon as we know.
The warranty is non-transferable and is not valid for products purchased outside of Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Belgium or Luxembourg.

(5) When registering warranty claims, you as a customer must present the original invoice and a clear description of the defect to the dealer from whom you purchased the product.
Your dealer may receive permission from KAWAI Europa GmbH to inspect the product using its own technical staff. Otherwise the product will be sent to an authorized service partner or to KAWAI Europa GmbH delivered and then returned to the dealer.
The customer is not entitled to have the product repaired by a third party not authorized by KAWAI Europa GmbH. In this case, there are no further warranty claims.

(6) KAWAI Europa GmbH will repair or replace any components according to its own specifications.
KAWAI Europa GmbH may, at its sole discretion, decide to replace the digital piano with a similar model of similar age and condition or to provide compensation for the remaining warranty period in the amount of to provide current value.
A similar model of similar age will be provided with a warranty equal to the remaining warranty period of the affected product at the time the warranty is claimed.
Warranty services do not result in an extension or a new start of the warranty period for this digital piano; replaced parts become the property of KAWAI Europa GmbH.
Further claims are excluded.

(7) If the digital piano is to be operated in a country other than the country for which it was originally developed and produced, changes may have to be made to the digital piano in order to adapt it to the technical and / or to adapt to the safety standards of that other country. Such changes are not due to defects in materials or workmanship of the digital piano and are not covered by this warranty. The price for Such changes and any damage caused to the digital piano will not be reimbursed.

The five-year guarantee does not apply in the following cases:

(1) In the event of damage to the housing as a result of a change in temperature, humidity, sunlight, fire, moisture or other mechanical influences caused by using the device outside of the specified specifications were created.

(2) For damage caused by lightning, water, fire, force majeure, war, incorrect mains voltage, accident, misuse, improper use or other reasons for which KAWAI is not responsible.

(6) Damage caused by third-party intervention (opening, modification or repair) not carried out by an authorized KAWAI representative or an authorized KAWAI service center.

(7) In the case of damage that can be proven to have been caused by non-original consumables or wear materials.

(8) If the original label with the serial number is missing, changed or tampered with.

(10) Costs incurred for transport and travel costs as well as for setting up and dismantling the digital piano.
