Description
To mark Taylor’s 50th anniversary, we proudly present
the PS24ce LTD, a limited-edition gem within our
renowned Presentation Series. Initially launched in 1996,
the Presentation models have always epitomized the
pinnacle of Taylor craftsmanship, showcasing the finest
tonewoods and exquisite inlay detailing.
The PS24ce LTD features master-grade Hawaiian koa
top, sides and back, including a four-piece Simons
wedge back configuration, all with a natural gloss finish.
Like other all-solid koa guitars, its tonal profile is marked
by a punchy voice with a robust midrange response
and clear trebles. Over time, players will notice the
emergence of added warmth and sweetness in the
midrange, creating a rich and resonant tone. Its balanced
characteristics, blending midrange focus with top-end
brightness and chime, make it a versatile companion
across various playing styles.
An array of iridescent shell appointments elevate this
custom Grand Auditorium’s visual aesthetic, including
paua body, fretboard and peghead purfling, paua edge
trim, a paua rosette and a mother-of-pearl peghead logo.
In a nod to the original Presentation Series, this model
features the Byzantine inlay suite in green abalone.
In honor of our Golden Anniversary, the PS24ce
LTD features premium Gotoh luxury gold tuners with
matching buttons, ebony bridge pins with gold acrylic
dots and a commemorative 50th anniversary label inside
the guitar.
This heirloom-quality acoustic-electric represents the
ultimate showcase of Taylor’s guitar-building philosophy
and our most luxurious aesthetic details. To make these
Presentation Series limited edition guitars even more
special, in the U.S., we’re including a limited edition
Circa 74 guitar and vocal amplifier and amp stand.
Circa 74 is a new brand launched by Bob Taylor and
his fellow tone-obsessed guitar nerds at Taylor. They’ve
designed a 150-watt, two-channel acoustic guitar/vocal
amp combining warm sound, simple controls and elegant
woodworking craftsmanship. Circa 74 amps exude the
elegance of a finely crafted piece of furniture.
Since the amplifier cabinet and stand are both made
from Hawaiian koa, they complement each other
seamlessly as a natural musical pairing.. Circa 74 has
Bluetooth connectivity to stream music and play or sing
along and it’s compatible with all major acoustic guitar
pickups and vocal mics.
